Tugboat

This is our tribute to the humble tugboat. The bass line represents the little boat's power, while the guitar part imitates the boat's maneuvering finesse. Chug! Chug! Chug!

Do You Love Me?

Our campfire song. It's about the uncertainty of love and the fear of not being loved in return. This is our very first song we recorded together.

This Too Shall Pass

This song is about a relationship that has come to an end. It touches on the whole range of emotions that we go thru, good and bad, but also (in this case) the sense of relief that it's over. The chorus, "Yet this too shall pass" serves as a reminder that time is passing and that everything, including this relationship, will eventually come to an end. The overall theme of the song is moving on and letting go, but also taking away positive memories from the relationship.

Silly love Song

Our 'novelty' track is a playful combination of what some may consider to be toy instruments - the ukulele, melodica, and washboard. This song is both silly and upbeat, perfectly fitting for the song's theme of love and the silly things it can make us do. The track speaks to the relatable experience of unexpected romantic feelings developing within a friendship, and the inner struggle of wanting to express oneself while fearing rejection. 'Silly Love Song' is an ode to all the developing friendships out there and the unpredictable nature of falling in love.

Cartoon Girl

Cartoon Girl is a song about having a crush on someone who is out of reach. Growing up, Saturday mornings were filled with excitement as we eagerly tuned into to our favourite cartoons. Occasionally, a character would stand out and capture our hearts. They were strong, confident, beautiful, and in our hearts, they were real. This song is for anyone who has ever had a crush on a cartoon character, or anyone who can relate to the feeling of wanting to be with someone who is unobtainable.

Virtual Girlfriend

Virtual Girlfriend is a song about internet dating during lockdown. Many of us did this all around the world. We matched with someone on Tinder/Bumble and couldn't meet them in person due to Covid lockdowns. Instead, we got to know them quite intimately even though it was all thru our phones. This song captures the excitement of being in one of these relationships and of the anticipation of finally meeting that person IRL (Internet speak for 'In Real Life')
